I have read many books in this series, and each book has simply confirmed my first impression after reading my first Oliver and Jumpy book. Simply fantastic. A book children would enjoy. The stories are unique and the colors are vibrant. What more can you ask for? I’m a grown adult and I love reading these stories.
As I read the adventures of Oliver and Jumpy, I can’t help but wish this series was created fifteen years earlier. My kids would have loved this crazy world with all the fun characters, beautiful colors, and awesome adventures. When they were young, my kids enjoyed watching Teletubbies and Dora. I know for a fact they would have had a blast with Oliver and Jumpy. At least it’s nice to see that this new generation will have great books to enjoy as they grow up. Great books like the Oliver and Jumpy series.
Oliver and Jumpy are back again with more fun filled adventures. Together, readers will travel with Oliver and Jumpy through the dessert to visit Oliver’s family, play detective to find his missing ring, and go trick o’ treating with REAL ghosts. This is definitely a fun read for kids.
The cover of Rise of the Transgenics by J.S. Frankel promises a story that will be unique and intriguing. I was not disappointed. In fact, the more I read, the more I wanted to know what came next. I hope this is not the end of Anastasia and Harry. Now that Harry can kick butt, I want to see what he does with his new strength.
I have read both Beyond the Eyes and Dark Spirits by Rebekkah Ford. I suggest reading both before picking up The Devil’s Third simply to understand how the characters got to where they are now. You have nothing to fear. All three books were fantastic. As the story progressed from book 1 to book 3, the characters grew as individuals. The story had several cool twists and moved along at a constant pace. Readers of all ages will enjoy this series.
Legends Of Potentia: Perfero is the third book to the Legends of Potentia series. Like the prior installments, this book will keep you turning pages to see how the powerful Umbra plans to finish off our heroes, Amare and Rupert. The surprising twist at the end will definitely pique your interest for book four.
The Oliver and Jumpy tales are about the adventures of a black cat who wears a top hat and his best friend Jumpy, who happens to be a kangaroo. Each book contains three new adventures displayed in vivid, colorful pictures. Young children will definitely enjoy following Oliver in his magical journeys.
